- Store your jewelry in its original packaging or in a soft container to protect it from air pollution and humidity, as open-air exposure may degrade the plating.
- Keep your jewelry free from perfumes, lotions, and other chemicals that can damage the plating and shorten its lifespan.
- Handle the clasps, earring stoppers, and earring posts gently to avoid putting too much pressure on them. The metal used is delicate and cannot handle a lot of force. Making it thicker would make it less attractive.
- Be careful not to drop your jewelry or hit it against hard surfaces, especially rings and bracelets. This will help prevent scratches or losing stones.
